Kodubale recipe

Ingredients
Rice Flour 3 cup
ground net Powder1 cup 3/4 cup
hurigadale Powder2 teaspoons
Chilli Powder 1 - 2 teaspoons (to taste)
Hot Oil or Butter 1/4 cup
Vegetable Oil 2 -3 cups (for deep frying)
Hing (Asafoetida) 2 pinches
Salt to taste
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients except the oil needed for frying into a soft dough. Use water to make the dough. The dough should be a soft pliable dough without being too soft or too hard.
Take a small lump of dough, about the size of a small lime, and roll it on a flat surface into a thin rope. The thickness of the rope should be about half an inch or less. Bring the two ends of the rope together and press lightly with your fingers to make a ring.
Repeat with the rest of the dough.
Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy bottomed pan until it starts to ripple slightly.
Fry the Kodubale in batches in the vegetable oil on low to medium fire until they are golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Store in an airtight container after they have completely cooled.

Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain flour (maida)
  • 1 tbsp. Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp. ajwain (Oregano seeds) seeds
  • Salt according to taste
  • Warm water to make dough
  • ghee (clarified butter) for deep frying

Serve with

Serve with Pickle.

Method

1. Blend together maida (all purpose flour, plain flour) and salt, rub in the Ghee(clarified butter) and then add enough water to make a smooth pliable dough.
2. Make small thin rounds out of all the dough. Prick them on both sides with a fork. Allow to dry a bit for 20-30 minutes.
3. Now heat oil/Ghee(clarified butter) in a pan and deep fry a few at a time to a pale gold color.
4. Drain thoroughly and cool and store in air-tight containers.

Tasty HARI MIRCH PAKORA Recipes


Ingredients:

8 - 10 Bharawan Mirch (Pickle Green Chillies)
Oil for frying
For the filling:
1 Boiled Potatoes
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Ajwain
1 tsp finely chopped Mint Leaves
1/4 tsp Ginger paste
Salt to taste
For the covering
1 cup Besan (Bengal Gram Flour)
3 tblsp Rice Flour
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Pinch Turmeric Powder
1 Pinch Soda Bicarb
1/4 tsp Ajwain

Method:

Wash, wipe and slit the chillies along the length.
Remove the seeds from the chillies.
Mix all the ingredients for the stuffing and fill it inside the chillies.
Mix all the ingredients for the covering and add enough water to prepare a thick batter.
Dip the stuffed chillies in this batter and fry in hot oil till it is golden in color.

Tasty Fried rice recipe


Ingredients
3 cups cooked Basmati rice
4 nos. baby corn, sliced thin
1 large capsicum, sliced thin
2 tablespoons red or green curry paste
2 red or green chillies ,chopped
6 spring onions, chopped
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1 tablespoon oil
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat the oil in a wok, add the baby corn and capsicum and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Add the curry paste, chillies and spring onions.
3. Add the rice, soya sauce, salt and pepper.
4. Serve hot

Teasty Methi Paratha

Methi washed & dried 1 bunch

salt 1/2 tsp

Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp


Paprika 1/2 tsp

Olive oil

water
Method :

Mix flour,Methi ,salt & required water to make a dough
consistency. Rub oil & knead it soft.Let it rest for an hour.

With a help of a rolling pin take a lemon sized dough & roll it to Paratha shape.

Heat a flat pan ,when it gets hot add the paratha & let it cook for a minute. When it starts to get small bubbles turn around & add a small tsp of oil around the paratha.

When the brown spots appear take it out & keep it in
an in a covered box.

Serve hor or warm with Cucumber yogurt salad .
