
Vegetable Palav
Ingredients
1. Basumathi rice-1cup
2. Carrot-1/4cup
3. Beans-1/4cup
4. peas-1/4 cup
5. potato-1/4cup
6. capsicum-2
7. cashewnuts-1tblsp
8. drakshi(raisins)-1tblsp
9. bay leaf-2(palav elle)-
10. ghee-3 tblsp
11. dalchini-1 small piece
12. lavanga-2
13. green elaichi-1
14. jeera-2 tblsp
15. onion-1
16. green chilles-2
17. fresh grated coconut-1cup

10. ghee-3 tblsp

tomato-1
method
. Wash rice and soak for 10 mins
. drain water from rice fry rice with ghee
. fry all the vegetables
. in a cooker add 3 tblsp of oil.
. add bay leaf jeera,lavanga,dalchini,elaki,green chilles(whole) fry for a minute.
. add onion,tomato,vegetables,coconut,salt ,sugar,fry for 3 minutes
. add rice
. mix well
add 2 cups of water mix well
. let it boil
. close pressure cooker lid
. reduce flame and don't put cooker weight.
. Wait till rice fully cooks
. take out when its cool mix gently
Add dhrakshi, Godambi fried in ghee
Taste it and add lemon juice(1tsp)
Now close the lid and when 1 whistle comes switch it off.
When it is cool serve with Raita.
